who are suffering in sickness or adversity,

and those who especially need our prayers at this time.

Also the families of those who have died

ALPHA...What is life all about for you ?

Is there a purpose for me? Do I need faith?   If you are interested in exploring questions like these, do join us for relaxed discussions, including a free meal, on a day to be decided. Any enquiries are welcome and we look forward to hearing from you.  Please ring 01225 810278 or 07869470381.

Works and Repairs at StTaB

As many readers know, last year's five-yearly inspection of StTaB by our architect (the "Quinquennial Report") identified a number of areas of roof and masonry which require attention.  This includes the need for some of the memorials in the chancel to be attached more securely to the wall.  Contracts have so far been issued for painting work, stonemasonry and roofing. The work on the stonemasonry and internal memorials is due to start on 1 July, and scaffolding for the roof work will be erected a week later;  however, these dates may slip if the contractors have been delayed on previous jobs by the weather.  Your Church Wardens await news of a start date for the external painting of doors and window frames.
