Sunday 2nd June 2019

6th Sunday of Easter

8am                Holy Communion

10.30am         Morning Worship

6pm                 Evensong at Chapel Plaister

Risen, ascended Lord,

as we rejoice at your triumph,

fill your Church on earth with power and compassion,

that all who are estranged by sin may find forgiveness

and know your peace,

to the glory of God the Father.

Please pray for those who are ill

We remember those whom we know,

who are suffering in sickness or adversity,

and those who especially need our prayers at this time.

Also the families of those who have died

 Box Revels!

Many thanks to all those who helped in any capacity this year, both in the Pavilion with teas, and in the Prayer Tent. The Pavilion did a roaring trade, raising £440 for the church! The Prayer Tent enjoyed a modest but steady flow of visitors, with meaningful conversations and prayer taking place.

Many hands make light work!

We are hoping to recruit more church cleaners who would like to contribute to keeping our beautiful church looking fresh, well cared-for and sweet-smelling! Cleaners only tackle the tasks they are comfortable with, and work in pairs (although this is not essential) at a time to suit themselves. There is a rota, with each person’s name appearing approximately nine times a year—that’s less than once every five weeks :) If you feel you could offer this valuable service to our church community, please contact Pam Farmer 01225 744171 or This email address is being protected from spambots. HEART - Sunday 9th June

4pm - 6pm

Heart 4 Rudloe meets on the second and fourth Sunday of the month, between 4pm and 6pm, and everyone of any age is welcome (children must bring an adult to look after them). The afternoon includes craft, tea drinking and Lego building. This is followed by prayer, story and songs.  We round off the afternoon with some food (a light meal).

This activity is free, and is being run as part of the work of the Church of England in Box Parish.  Please do come along and join us as we make, pray and eat in the MOD Corsham Community  Centre on Leafy Lane.

Mid-week Services

If you would like to come to church but can’t come on a Sunday or would find a shorter service more comfortable for health or other issues, please remember you are always welcome at the Wednesday 10.30am service of Holy Communion, or you are welcome to join with one of the Nursing Home communions at Bybrook House or Brunel House. Please contact Janet or Clair for more details.
