Grass cutting rota Anyone who can spare a bit of time to join the grass cutting rota at St Thomas à Becket would be greatly appreciated. If you think you might be interested please do contact David Bates for more information.
Thursday Night Live and Homegroups
Thursday Night Live – Last one of this session 22nd July - Thursday evenings at 8.15pm until 9.15pm. Why not come and see what it’s like?
Homegroups
Monday home group will not be meeting next Monday 19th July. Instead, they will be having a bring and share BBQ on the following Monday, 26th July at 15 Ashwood Road, 7:30 for 8. If you’d like to come, please give Julia a ring on 01225 810242.
Wednesday group will meet this Wednesday 21st July at the vicarage and then break for the summer.
APCM Minutes The draft minutes of the APCM are on the website or on the noticeboard at the back of church, please read, thank you.
WasteWatchers - Holiday Club – 9-13 August Our holiday club will run from 10-12 noon in the Selwyn Hall and is absolutely free of charge! It is open to all children already at primary school. The week will be full of games, crafts, drama and Bible stories as the children learn about how to look after the environment.

Please pray for the holiday club – we ask you this week to particularly pray for our volunteers and helpers as we plan the club.
Bellringers Needed! We need more bellringers to welcome us into church on Sunday mornings. If you would like to learn how to ring the bells please contact Rhoda . No previous experience necessary.
Becket Pageant – Ticket List The sign up list for the tickets for the Becket Pageant is now available at the back of church. Tickets will be limited because of the space available so sign up now to avoid disappointment.

“Unstoppable” - New Wine Summer Conference 1st – 7th August. A group from St Thomas à Becket will be camping together at “New Wine” at the Royal Bath and West Showground this summer. So far there are nine booked in. If you would like to know more about coming for the week, or perhaps just as a day visitor to find out what it’s like, call Jamie Hay. |
