Alpha

After last year’s successful Alpha course we are planning on running another one in the same format. Meeting in September, October and November at the Queen’s Head on a Monday night. If you know anyone who would be interested in attending please speak to Janet. Or see the information at the back of church.

What do you think?

On 19th September after the morning service there will be a open meeting to discuss the worship at St Thomas’.

This meeting will undertake the review work that used to be done at worship committee: so what went well, what didn’t work well, suggestions for what we could do better.

These comments will then be considered when planning future worship.

Also suggestions for hymns and songs will be passed on to the hymn choosing group.

Please come along and contribute your thoughts, if you can’t come but would like to make a comment or suggestion please speak to Andrew Clark.

Following a successful discussion on "Suffering" over wine and whisky in May, "Just War" in July, the men have decided to meet again on Friday 22nd October from 8pm in The Vicarage with a subject of "Money". If you are interested then feel free to just turn up or talk to Andrew Clark or Ian MacKenzie. We are hoping this will become a regular opportunity for fellowship.
