Our Vicar is the Revd Dr Janet Anderson-MacKenzie who was licensed to the parishes on 14 February 2008 and is Priest in Charge of Box with Hazelbury and Ditteridge. Janet lives in Box Vicarage with her husband Ian and two daughters Iona and Elspeth. Before being called to be a priest, she was a biochemist specialising in osteoarthritis research. As well as being the Vicar, Janet is also a school governor of the local school and runs the village Brownies as Brown Owl. Janet's day off is on a Friday.
Our curate is the Revd Alice Kemp who was ordained Deacon and licensed to the parishes on 4 July 2010. Alice has lived in the village for many years and is married to Andrew and has a daughter Pheobe and son Francis. Alice is a self supporting minister.
Canon John Ayers is a self supporting minister who has special responsibility for the Parish of Ditteridge.
Our Licensed Lay Minister is Phil Daniels. Phil is currently training for ordination as a priest in the Church of England.
Clair Southgate is one of our churchwardens but also currently training to become a priest in the Church of England. Clair hopes to become an ordained local minister to work in the community of Box and Ditteridge. Clair is also a teaching assistant in the local school.
